00;00;00;00 - 00;00;14;12 Unknown So you stayed until your time was up? Yeah. Because my my, my chain of command mostly was like, bro, we are. We're proud of what you're doing. Keep doing it. Like, nice. You've had some supporters. Yeah, they were all it was only one person. Not one person who made that final decision.
00;00;14;12 - 00;00;26;11 Unknown And it was a woman. Yeah. They're making us. Of course. Don't mean it's just the. That's how the cookie. Yeah, but yeah, I took it on the chain. And I mean, look at me now. I came a way better. So,
00;00;26;14 - 00;00;35;18 Unknown Do you trust people easily or. No, I do actually. Same. I don't think it's a good quality. I'm not. I'm. I'm not mad. No, I'm honestly not mad that I trust people.
00;00;35;24 - 00;00;42;28 Unknown a huge beneficial doubt giver like. And I'll give it over and over and over, regardless of how many times you've stabbed me.
00;00;43;01 - 00;00;58;00 Unknown I've become a little bit more selective about who I give it to. But if I don't give it to you, we probably just don't talk. Yeah, for the most part, I'm. I have a hero complex, too, so that's probably why that plays a card. But wait, what's a hero complex like? I just, I just want, like, I want everybody to win.
00;00;58;02 - 00;01;02;28 Unknown Even if I don't like, I just, I just want to make sure everybody's good around me. Yeah. So
00;01;02;28 - 00;01;06;08 Unknown Real voices. Bold stories. This
00;01;06;10 - 00;01;15;27 Unknown is the Lexus Starship. Hush, hush.
00;01;15;29 - 00;01;19;22 Unknown Oh!
00;01;19;25 - 00;01;23;13 Unknown This show is presented by King Rella.
00;01;23;16 - 00;01;53;24 Unknown Welcome to Shorty's world. That's what his bio says. But what does it actually take to build a world like that? Today's guest isn't just in front of the camera. He's behind everything. Director, videographer, photographer, performer, producer and ex biz award winner. So yeah, we definitely have a lot to talk about today. Please welcome Shorty.
00;01;53;27 - 00;02;11;17 Unknown Hanging in there. Thanks for being here today. Or for having me. For sure, for sure, I appreciate you. Yes. So happy that you're here. We got a lot to talk about because you got a lot going on. I do, I always got a lot going on. All right, so for people who are just discovering, you tell us a little bit about who Shorty Shorty is.
00;02;11;17 - 00;02;32;00 Unknown What's shorty world? What does that entail for the lore? Give us a little. Give us a sneak. Like, let us know who you were prior to all of this. Start with that. Prior to Shorty World, I was a very, very known breakdancer in a lovely town called Gainesville, Florida. I don't know if you know that home in the Gators, but,
00;02;32;03 - 00;02;55;11 Unknown Gainesville. Yeah, yeah. I went to UF, University of Florida, where I just I don't know how it happened, but I just slowly became one of the best dancers in town. And I caught myself in the middle of every club. Nice. Working at every club and just battling anybody I could. So, that was a law. So I kind of became well known within that local area.
00;02;55;11 - 00;03;13;20 Unknown And every time I went to the club or stepped out, I was so short, actually, Shorty. And then I was around the T-Pain area. So T-Pain was the best. So my name wasn't technically in every song. So it was a no shout out, so I couldn't escape that. And then 50 cent came my way in the club. So go, Shorty, it's your birthday.
00;03;13;21 - 00;03;35;25 Unknown Yeah, we go party like, sorry, I, I literally couldn't escape all these like, lines. So my name kind of in that like local area just came very like household. And after college you just kind of like, well, what do you do as a, as a dancer? You either be a choreographer, which I did, and you don't, you don't stay young anymore.
00;03;35;26 - 00;04;03;25 Unknown Yeah. Your knees don't do what they used to. So I just ended up, joining the Air Force and nice. I repaired airplanes for quite some years in there, and had a couple of tours in the East. In the Middle East? Done my duties. And next thing I know, I'm like, I come back from my deployment, and I'm stationed in new Jersey around the time, McGuire Air Force Base.
00;04;03;25 - 00;04;20;25 Unknown And they have, I think, annually every October, they have. And exotica. New Jersey. Yeah. I kept hearing all my coworkers just talk about it because, you know, the military where, you know, we want we want to be around women. Yeah, yeah. So a couple of my my supervisor was like, yeah, I go to this convention, man. And I'm like, all right, all right.
00;04;20;25 - 00;04;42;03 Unknown I've been ignoring this for two years. I'm going to go to my first one. I heard the new Jersey one is like the best one. It is the best one out of the four, annually next to Chicago. But I'm I'm just going to put it on new Jersey. Yeah, because we, we went to the one in Miami and we were like, wait, the thing about Miami is that it's never going to be good.
00;04;42;04 - 00;05;00;16 Unknown No offense to the Miami one. It's just it's just my that kind of stuff is so common here. Yeah. To where if you're like, oh, there's a bunch of, you know, corn stars in one area, people, oh, we can go to Walmart and see that in Miami. So you know, so no one cares here. So it's a good point.
00;05;00;16 - 00;05;25;20 Unknown I when you when you put it in a town like Edison, new Jersey, they're like, we've never seen that. So they flood into that place and you get Chicago as well. You don't see that that often. So that's why they're smart enough to put it there to get the fan base. Yeah. So I go and I'm with one of my, you know, homies slash coworker who's actually now my assistant, shout out to salsa.
00;05;25;22 - 00;05;42;25 Unknown He he's just like a nerd. I'm a nerd. And we're just walking around and I'm just like, oh, my God, and take a picture with somebody like, I got $20. Oh, I'll get you one. Yeah, I get, I get one picture and one autograph, but I'll take it. And you know, they got the ATM in there. They know what they're doing for sure.
00;05;42;25 - 00;06;06;28 Unknown So you know I'm like, who, who, who, who should I do. Who should I do? It comes down to, it comes down to Sarah J. Okay. And I'm like, she has a line, but not so crazy, but she's, like, attentive to her fans. I'm like it. That's her. So I take a picture with her and it just has like, oh, I'm not a gunner, but I'm going.
00;06;07;00 - 00;06;29;23 Unknown And, I was like, I looked at my homie and I'm looking at the atmosphere and just the the energy of the convention. And I look at him, I literally I was like, I super, I want this, I want to be a part of this life. And I kid you not, not even not even three months later, I'm just like, I got I got me a little cannon wrap camera, like some cheap camera, and I'm just like, filming.
00;06;29;23 - 00;06;47;25 Unknown Yeah, yeah, whoever's down, not whoever. But, like, I'm searching, like, how do I get started? How do I build a name for myself? Started off at, like, Shorty's planet. No one should talk about that. It's like the Mario movie from the 90s. We don't talk about it, but it started off with Shorty's plan and I was like, it just doesn't roll off the tongue.
00;06;47;25 - 00;07;14;22 Unknown Well, it's like it sounds crazy just hearing it now. So this plan. Yeah. Logo was very generic and just baseline, like, whatever I made this on, like some, like PowerPoint website. And next thing I know I say, well, as a dancer, you have to be really creative. Just to freestyle, just to win a battle. So I started to use that creativity in my amateur style, filming with the models that were willing to do a scene.
00;07;14;24 - 00;07;36;18 Unknown And so yeah, it was super amateur, but the editing was like crisp, like music video style. So I started posting on Twitter and making sure people could see it. And next thing I know, I'm getting follower. I have a follower and a follower and I get, someone reaches out to me from New York since I was in new Jersey and they were a creator, and I was like, wait, what?
00;07;36;18 - 00;07;56;28 Unknown This is like, this is like a real thing. Like, this is like an actual creator. And she's like, yeah, let's let's work, let's work. So I get on the train to New York and I, I'm looking at my, my assistant slash homeboy at the time. I'm like, okay, is our first chance. We cannot mess it up. Yeah. And I did such a surprisingly amazing job as my first scene ever like official see.
00;07;56;28 - 00;08;15;28 Unknown Yeah. And I the way I see it and this is for like, new guys who want to get into the industry or always ask for advice. It's like unlocking a video game character. Like if you shoot with one good person, you do a good job and you're respectful and you make women feel comfortable, which is the most important?
00;08;16;00 - 00;08;32;18 Unknown That goes a long way. 1000 and it unlocks, if she's connected to other creators, is going to unlock a bunch of other characters for you, and you just have to rinse and repeat because they are going to be connected to somebody bigger. Yeah. And next thing you know is word of mouth and it's a snowball effect.
00;08;32;18 - 00;08;53;09 Unknown So, next thing I know, I'm, I'm still in the military, but I'm still, like, heavy trying to, you know, this is a side quest. It's going well, so I end up eventually getting caught. Be honest, I got caught. They found. Did you did you get a warning or, like, how was it? Was it just like.
00;08;53;16 - 00;09;13;01 Unknown Bro, we know what you do. There was no warning. It was just they don't. They don't give you a warning you like. Especially as a guy in the military, you don't get no warning. It's it's hey, we caught you. We see it. We we subscribed. Oh, we watched everything. That's kind of stuff. That is stuff. Yeah. Like you could tell that it's me.
00;09;13;02 - 00;09;32;01 Unknown Well, you don't have to subscribe and watch everything. I guess we needed, like, real proof. They wanted to know, like, what I was doing. They kind of chuck me up as, like, paying girls, okay? For. For exchange of. Cool. I'm like his work. Yeah. Technically, if I didn't do this, they were going to do this anyways, so. Yeah, exactly.
00;09;32;03 - 00;09;48;03 Unknown Yeah, they just me. They made me out to look bad, but most of, like, my commander. Like my my chain of command. They were pretty, like. Yeah, cool. Like, we can count this as a second job. But I had a first sergeant. I was like, no, she was the only female. She's like, no, I don't want this to be a thing.
00;09;48;05 - 00;10;05;28 Unknown You got to go like, oh, so there was no warning. There was no hey, here's a second chance. They were like, here's a slap on. Not even a slap on the wrist. Here's your punishment. We're taking away some stripes. We're taking away some pay. And you cannot stay in past your separation date. I was like, that's in like five months.
00;10;06;00 - 00;10;25;10 Unknown I have no plan. Yeah. I was going to extend. So they were like, no, sorry. Gotta go. They didn't fully like throw you out of the military. They reduce your pay your stripes. I don't know what that is, but my rank. Okay. Your rank. Oh, that kind of how how did you deal with that? Because that, when you,
00;10;25;12 - 00;10;42;04 Unknown So when you rank up in the military, you become more of a leader, you know. Yeah. Someone up to you. Someone that people, when people just get in, they look up to you. So when you come back, like a day later and they're after everyone knows you've been in trouble, you come back a day later with two ranks under.
00;10;42;05 - 00;11;00;12 Unknown Yeah. And what might be easy for sure. You look at, you look at your, the people you were teaching and it's like, God yeah, I'm us now. I'm under them now or I'm one of them. So it's like I was like, I'm out in four months. Five months. Just put me in like the tool crib where I'm just hidden.
00;11;00;14 - 00;11;03;12 Unknown And I'll. I'll just do my paperwork until it's time to go. So.
00;11;03;12 - 00;11;17;24 Unknown So you stayed until your time was up? Yeah. Because my my, my chain of command mostly was like, bro, we are. We're proud of what you're doing. Keep doing it. Like, nice. You've had some supporters. Yeah, they were all it was only one person. Not one person who made that final decision.
00;11;17;24 - 00;11;35;14 Unknown And it was a woman. Yeah. They're making us. Of course. Don't mean it's just the. That's how the cookie. Yeah, but yeah, I took it on the chain. And I mean, look at me now. I came a way better. So, I once I got out, I was like, well, I'm in New Jersey. I can't really do this in new Jersey.
00;11;35;16 - 00;11;37;06 Unknown So I, I got in my
00;11;37;06 - 00;11;51;05 Unknown car, packed up my stuff, and you drove to Florida, came straight to Florida because I was like, it's got to be the spot. It it seems like the spot. So I came down to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and was like, work was just insane. Yeah.
00;11;51;10 - 00;12;12;12 Unknown If you're watching this right now, I bet you care about how you look, feel, and smell. Especially smell. And that's why I'm here to talk to you about King Rilla. They make all natural soaps, shampoos, lip balms and deodorants for men. But I'm not gonna lie. I use them as well. They use organic ingredients that keep you feeling fresh all day long.
00;12;12;13 - 00;12;26;21 Unknown And trust me, you deserve to treat yourself like a king. So do yourself and your girlfriend a favor by visiting them at King rilla.com. You won't regret it. Oh, and don't forget to use my promo code Lexus Star to get 15% off your order.
00;12;26;25 - 00;12;35;26 Unknown So back then when you just started out, when you came to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, were you just, a performer at that time?
00;12;35;29 - 00;13;00;06 Unknown So technically, as even as an amateur, I was still producing my own work. I'm still editing my own work. And technically still directing. But when I got here and the logo was created, the everything, the everything of Shorty's world from Shorty's planet started to excel. I was like, well, I started to look at other males creators work and not just other creators in general.
00;13;00;06 - 00;13;18;01 Unknown I was like, well, what do I how do I do something different that separates me from the guns? Oh, the corny skits, the stuck in the dryer, the, you know, and we did. We did one of those. Yikes. Sorry. No, it's like it's the shoes phase. I mean, you got stuck. You know, it just happened. Too much laundry.
00;13;18;01 - 00;13;38;19 Unknown But but I said, how do I separate myself from this? So you're a you're pretty creative guy. You're a film buff. You've watched almost every movie. No, man. You get all you, you you take a lot of your comedy from a mixture of Jim Carrey, Chappelle and Martin Lawrence. So like, use it. And next thing I know, I'm, I'm coming up with the I'm writing.
00;13;38;19 - 00;13;58;15 Unknown I'm writing so many comedy skits for myself. I'm taking so many like relatable TikTok comedy skits, and I'm just like slapping them before a scene. And I'm like, how do I get this to lead to the actual scene? And I somehow always do. Okay. I mean, well, one time I was in LA and I did a scene where I ran from LA to the airport to Colorado.
00;13;58;22 - 00;14;15;20 Unknown Oh my God, I'm in the I'm in Colorado Springs running in the snow just to get to these two girls in a cabin. And it that's one of the funniest things ever. But that's how serious I take my ticket, so I'm literally running in the snow. And next thing I know, I'm like, okay, well, I'm. People are noticing.
00;14;15;25 - 00;14;36;11 Unknown People are noticing that this is not your average just like scene scene. It's not like the typical hey, step mom, step bro. And then I went and one thing led to another, and I'm within six months of being out of the military, I'm nominated for an x BS. That's amazing. And I'm like, whoa, this is not real. Yeah, I love when you like.
00;14;36;18 - 00;14;57;18 Unknown So for example, yourself, you're in the military, you got caught, then you got, you had your little side gig, but you didn't know if it was going to work. Right? Because followers doesn't mean money, right? At the end of the day. So then you out of the military, you you, you know, start working, you start producing, and then boom, you get an X award.
00;14;57;21 - 00;15;22;24 Unknown That must be that's, must be such a great feeling because I've got nominated for a few things, not XS. And I'm just like, yes, people are noticing, and that's just awesome. So you got nominated for what exactly? Same thing I'm nominated for now is, male clip creator of the year. Nice. And I, I felt better about that category because of the production and the directing.
00;15;22;25 - 00;15;49;28 Unknown Like, I'm not just a talent. I do produce for other people. Nice. I do film for other people, and I do direct for other people now. So also edit heavy editor. But within my elevation of my brand, I also had to get better at what I did. My quality increased, my camera quality increased, increased, and, people noticed that too, because I'm looking at like all these big brands and I'm like, search and like what kind of camera they use and like, what the why is it so beautiful?
00;15;49;28 - 00;16;06;21 Unknown Like what what camera do I need? So I'm like, I'm like, oh, everything's filters, everything's lenses. You really have to focus on that stuff. And, and in, in production, a lot of people don't care about production. They just slap video together and post it. And I, I was like, you know, I want I want this to be funny.
00;16;06;21 - 00;16;23;12 Unknown I know a lot of people aren't laughing before they goon, but I don't care. Sorry. People like a story, like a build up. Right. Exactly. So there's like sometimes we used to film and it was just like get like straight to it. And then they're like, oh, you can just sit there. It wasn't. And like, you got to ease into it.
00;16;23;12 - 00;16;39;08 Unknown So you got to give them, you know, you got to get stuck in the dryer from time to time or like your stepmom needs to, like drop something on the floor. You gotta get you gotta get caught in a room doing something. I was the pool boy, you know I did not. That pool boy, he he he was he was stepson.
00;16;39;13 - 00;16;55;27 Unknown He was my stepson. And he, he the neighbor, the neighbor's mom, you know, and she got Joe, I got jealous, so I actually, that's actually hot. And I couldn't see you. But, see, I'm not even mad at that because that's actually hot. You. I mean, like, and that's why I was like, I want to keep it hot, but I want to keep it fun.
00;16;55;27 - 00;17;14;25 Unknown Yeah. Like, yeah, I've seen funny skits. So I just started looking at other male talents and the ones that were particularly doing skits, and I was like, I just taking little recipes from different people. I didn't want to, like, copy anybody. No, but directly. But I wanted to take different recipes and, you know, go look at TikToks and reels and couples reels trade secret.
00;17;14;27 - 00;17;33;13 Unknown I go, I take a lot from like really couple Instagram Reels and I'll turn it, I'll stretch it out and turn it into a longer skit just to lead into the scene. And so it made a lot of other female talents want to be part of that. And that's that was the whole goal, because I eventually, you know, show this World production company became a thing.
00;17;33;13 - 00;17;55;26 Unknown And, you know, I wanted to keep going. I'm still going to keep going. But I love production more than anything. I do love being talent. But if you had to pick one, you'd pick. If I had to pick, it'd be production. In directing. I just love directing. Hell, even this podcast, I was like loving all the behind the scenes because I'm like, this is what I like deal with every day, so I can relate.
00;17;55;26 - 00;18;19;26 Unknown Well, we're looking for a producer just like, you know, but yeah, I mean, that's most of the lore leading up to like the first award and multiple nominations doing. Yeah. So you're nominated again this year. Who are you up against? We know the answer. That's why we're not gonna talk about it because it's a lot of friendly rivalry but mostly rivalry in here.
00;18;19;29 - 00;18;45;16 Unknown And we got two weeks before this thing pops off. So maybe a week and a half because it gets really with my category, we get really competitive. Do you. But it's so it's so passive competitive. Like we don't we don't let each other know how competitive we're being. It's very slick comments like if if one of my homeboys redacted or or Jordan right post, I'll be like, I'll be like, hey, you got my vote.
00;18;45;16 - 00;19;05;14 Unknown Like look very bad. You got my voting. Yeah, you got one for me. But I'm still not clicking the button. But it's very passive like that. And we already know that we are just gunning for this. Yeah. So but it's fun to win, right? Like it's amazing. It's great to get the nomination, but to win, to get on that stage.
00;19;05;16 - 00;19;26;28 Unknown And that's also my first time winning. I felt so bad like, oh, I felt so bad. Why I so I get on stage. All right. I'll be honest, I knew I was winning an award. Okay, I know that sounds so. No, but you gotta believe it if you want it to happen. But day one, day one. Just at the pool party before we even get to the awards show.
00;19;26;28 - 00;19;51;01 Unknown I knew. I knew that if I cut my votes in half, I still won. Okay? And I know, so I'm if if you ever find the footage, you could see me just sitting down at the stage and they're going through the names. Yeah. You're still nervous? Your heart. Yeah. Yeah. Asshole. At this moment, yeah. I still like as soon as she says my name, I was just like, how are we going to.
00;19;51;05 - 00;20;07;27 Unknown Yeah, yeah. So I get on stage and I'm looking at all my peers and the people I was nominated with, and I could just see, like, I it was just so many different characters. It was disappointment. It was like, yeah. And there was like, oh, there was just so many emotions. And I was like, man, I'm new. And I won that.
00;20;07;29 - 00;20;27;14 Unknown That's the thing. You're new, right? And then there is these people who are doing it for a lot longer with me the hardest. So that's that's an amazing accomplishment because you just you just pop in the scene. What up you I guess you just I just got the award and not on and not on. Like, I was like, I was like, y'all deserve it too.
00;20;27;16 - 00;20;48;10 Unknown But, I was, but I deserve it more. I, I hate that my brain goes to that route, but I just want all my people to win. Like I for sure I do like whole wholeheartedly. I want all my boys to win. Like shout out to flight like Mars like I really he definitely deserves a w with his hard work.
00;20;48;10 - 00;21;06;16 Unknown His catalog is huge. His camera work, his production value is insane. And I just think, like, I sometimes I'm like, every time we are up against each other, like, but I still appreciate in like can give you like pay homage to him and he's 1,000%. Yeah I don't know. Are you feeling like you were the first time?
00;21;06;16 - 00;21;21;13 Unknown Because the first time you knew you were going to win, what do you. So I won't know that until the week of. Okay. That's when I'll feel the most confident. Okay? And when I start, when I get to South Beach, then I'll know you'll feel the energy, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the energy. We'll see. Okay.
00;21;21;13 - 00;21;45;02 Unknown You spoke about before about, looking at what people are using to film with and whatnot. What are you using to film with? Because we're struggling. We're not struggling with that. But we always like to improve. We like our qualities, things out and and try different things and see how people react to them. But like, right now, well, before we used to film with our all that Samsung phone, when you start, you're starting basic, right?
00;21;45;02 - 00;22;06;29 Unknown The phone. And then we went to the A7, for A7 for. Yeah, the, wide angle lens. It's a 1535 camera and on and more. But, we did that. But then it's like, you know, our style is very amateur. I'm not trying to be a big production. Like what we shot for is they asked me to use that camera.
00;22;06;29 - 00;22;28;22 Unknown Right? But now we just film on the iPhone directly to see it. Yeah. You know, I started off with a R.P.. You don't you're not going to get much out of that. It's one of those cheap cameras you get from, like, target. But then obviously, once I started making the money to invest, I started investing heavily into I got I got the same camera you have the Sony.
00;22;28;22 - 00;22;52;20 Unknown And I was producing really, really, like, heavy content. I my biggest like my baby scene is, the elevator with Aria six and I really I wrote that skit very well and it's a two part scene and I shot it with a Sony, but I didn't, you know, I wasn't really familiar with color grading, and I shot in an s-log and I, you know, you.
00;22;52;20 - 00;23;10;08 Unknown Yeah, you just got to know all that stuff. So yeah, I had no clue what that was at the time. So when, when I started producing it, everything was grainy and gray. So I was like, I don't know if I want to do this kind of work. When I edit, I just up, you know, maybe, maybe, you know, boost it up a little bit.
00;23;10;10 - 00;23;28;17 Unknown So after a few scenes, winning an award and I was like, okay, I need to change up some things because my assistant, after I got an assistant, they started thinking it was way too difficult to film with that s-log so or edit. So I just went to, the canon R5, but it's a very good company. Yeah, yeah, that bad boy.
00;23;28;17 - 00;23;45;16 Unknown Yeah, that bad boy goes up to AK if you're using a cfexpress card when we show our 3D, 3D stuff. Not content with you. AK yeah, beautiful color. AK colors are nice. Yeah. Frame rates beautiful. So I do a lot of slow motion stuff. If you ever go to my Instagram page, I do a lot of showcasing for my models.
00;23;45;18 - 00;24;06;15 Unknown I don't want any models to come to my platform and feel like, oh, I'm just another girl. Yeah, I see I'm very selective of who I shoot with. So when I do shoot with a specific model, I want them to be showcased for a long time. Like, they came to Shorty's world and did work. Here's their slo mo promo, here's their photos, here's another part, another promo.
00;24;06;15 - 00;24;28;14 Unknown And like, here's their comedy skits. The reels I just want, yeah, I want it to all be like them. They're supposed to feel special. They're not supposed to feel compiled in a group. Not no, no. Show it to other creators. But when you shoot with a bunch of people, it just becomes too diluted. Yeah. And I think that that's a reason why a lot of people would like to work with you is because you do things.
00;24;28;16 - 00;24;47;24 Unknown Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I say I oh, my, I always say, if you don't care about your content, no one else will. Exactly. If you don't care about your quality, no one else will. Oh yeah. And coming into this industry as a male is hard for males to come in and be focused on the most important part, because they're all either focused on the money or the scene.
00;24;47;24 - 00;25;07;24 Unknown I'm like, I don't care about either of those things. Yeah, it's a business, like I care about my fans, because most of your fans as a male are going to be people in the industry. Yeah. Which is which is fine. But when they start to care about your work, that's what feels good to want to elevate that. So once I went to the canon R5, it was so much easier and I started learning more about lenses.
00;25;07;24 - 00;25;25;10 Unknown And so I have like a the library of list of lenses now, especially with my slo mo is I use an 85 with like 1.2. So like that Boca is like everything in the background is gone. It's just focused on the model. On the model. How far away do you put it? I have 85. I have to be like so on the other side of the room.
00;25;25;10 - 00;25;46;20 Unknown Yeah, but that's fine. If I'm shooting just the promo. Right. And then for just regular scenes, I'll use like a, like a, a prime, like 24 millimeter or that's really all I need for the, for the wide angles and close because I'm a, I'm a close to mid angle kind of guy. So it's worked out well with the canon.
00;25;46;20 - 00;26;06;09 Unknown I am going to venture out soon to see about this black magic. I filmed with that. So yeah. So prior to being here in Florida and what we do, I had two, production companies in back in Montreal. I used to shoot music videos and, you know, commercials and stuff. So I've shot with red cams. Black magic.
00;26;06;09 - 00;26;16;03 Unknown I love black magic. Do you love black man? I've seen I've seen this guy stream with it and I'm like, yeah, what is this? It's awesome. What is this movie I'm watching? Like, you're streaming and it looks like a film.
00;26;16;05 - 00;26;34;08 Unknown Hey, it's like Lexus star if you've made it this far. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for sticking around. If you are enjoying the show, I would love if you could subscribe. Now why would I ask you this? The more subscribers we have, the easier it is for me to bring on fun, exciting and entertaining guests on the show for you to enjoy.
00;26;34;09 - 00;26;38;20 Unknown So let's keep the conversation going. Now let's get back to the show.
00;26;38;23 - 00;26;44;17 Unknown It's not just their gear. Also, they're like DaVinci resolve, right? It's just so much better. Like, it's just,
00;26;44;20 - 00;27;04;10 Unknown Because even if you even if you even if you put like, I think there's like a black magic app on your phone, you can and that even changes the quality of your phone, which is like what is happening? Like, people don't know about this because I filmed in the American scene and I go to this set because they hire me to film the scene, I go to set and I'm like, I lay out this whole Inspector Gadget thing of like, oh, this is my camera is what I do now.
00;27;04;15 - 00;27;32;08 Unknown He's he's watching, he's listening. And then once I'm done presenting my work, he's like, here's the phone, you're going to film on this? I. Not to put America out there. I'm like, come on, I gave you the story to give you cinema. And they gave me this phone with, like, magically, I was like, whatever. The phone had. The black man that was still good quality, but I just felt like, yeah, you know what I was expecting?
00;27;32;08 - 00;27;52;09 Unknown Yeah, yeah, there's there's phone calls coming in after the decline, so. So we're busy. But yeah, that's that's mostly, what I'm doing, I've done for camera work. I am going to go to Meta Glasses soon for our, like a different series. And just trying to amateur out a little bit instead of the high production because I feel like I've started off in high production.
00;27;52;12 - 00;28;07;26 Unknown Have you tried the meta glasses? No. You to try them? Not. Yeah. Not yet. I'm scared. But but I know when that day comes, which is literally like an a month, it's. I think that's going to blow up with the ideation. Yeah. Well I don't know what your idea. We're going to try. We should try out the meta glasses.
00;28;07;26 - 00;28;26;18 Unknown That would be so much easier to film I think. So the thing is the thing is it doesn't feel it doesn't film horizontal films. It's vertical by 16. Yeah. I don't think it films. I honestly, honestly, I think I'm okay with that being that I'm only using it for the specific sites. Yeah. For those series. So it's going to be watched on the.
00;28;26;20 - 00;28;46;02 Unknown Yeah, exactly. So now that'll work on just fine. Yeah. Because all my scenes are shot. No, landscape for the cinematics for sure. When I slap it on the TV, I don't want it to do it. So. Yeah. So, yeah, I think it'll work out nice. So in my. Yeah. Wait. Horizontal by default. Okay.
00;28;46;02 - 00;29;05;22 Unknown So yeah, you could I just got them I for some I'm using them. So there you go. So he's he's learning. But try to tell me that we can do all is not lost. So you say that you don't like you. You like to choose who you work with. What is something that you look for in a,
00;29;05;24 - 00;29;22;01 Unknown What's the word I'm looking for? Not partner. CoStar. Oh, costar. That's the word I was looking for. Oh, man, that's a huge thing for me. I will study, okay. I will go to your mainly at 100%. I go to your Twitter. That is where I stay or your X, I'll study your X very heavily. Always Twitter.
00;29;22;01 - 00;29;41;25 Unknown Yeah. Yeah I can't it's never going to change for the same. Yeah. Sorry. But for the sake of my mind, Twitter. I'll go there and I'll scale your page. If you're like a retweet group. I don't really care for that, but you are posting your work if you're performance as well. You you give good facial expressions.
00;29;41;25 - 00;30;04;13 Unknown Like a lot of that stuff is important to me. Also affiliation. You know who you've worked with? Yeah. How much do you care about your quality of content? But when you're the one filming, it's going to be your quality. Yes. Right. That's what I try to compare because I'm like, okay, well, I'm bringing my cinema to their performance, vice versa.
00;30;04;15 - 00;30;23;22 Unknown And I want to I want to be able to match that energy and make sure they're going to do the same thing for that scene here, or better. And it's never it's never failed me that that recipe has never failed me yet. And it's kept me away from a lot of bad eggs. It's kept me away from a lot of failed scenes and shoots.
00;30;23;22 - 00;30;39;06 Unknown That's good. And I just want to keep that formula until then. It's good because there's there are a lot of guys in this industry that it'll just constantly DM and be like, let's collab, let's go shoot with anything. And because it's like, let's say, you know, they're they've been doing this for a long time and they're very well known.
00;30;39;06 - 00;30;58;29 Unknown Like, obviously girls are just going to say yes because they want to have that collab to, you know, boost their numbers and boost their visibility and so forth. Have you ever had somebody reach out to you and you said no to them? Not many times. That's what I look like. Yeah. Putting me on the spot on this one.
00;30;58;29 - 00;31;25;28 Unknown This. No. But has that ever happened to you is fine. I'm just telling myself, I have a lot of people. A lot of people who who have and still are reaching out. I just I'm such a nice guy. I hate it, but, All right, I'll tell my secret. I don't care. Okay. If if if I am, like, someone ask me, hey, can we work?
00;31;25;28 - 00;31;37;10 Unknown Can I, can I work like, can I shoot for shorties world? Whatever I give this line hopefully don't want to remember this, but I always give this one line. I said, I'll say.
00;31;37;12 - 00;32;00;23 Unknown I say we'll make it happen. No. And I said, we'll make it happen. Knowing good and well. I'm like, yeah, because, you know, a different like, gun. I know the difference between like, yeah, what data you available and and and yeah, we'll make it happen. Because I just saying no is hard as a male. You can get canceled so quick.
00;32;00;26 - 00;32;22;25 Unknown Yeah. Like you can sneeze the wrong way and you're cooked that like, so, so over that cancel culture, but you can't really escape it if you kind of live in, especially in a female dominated industry. One tweet and you're done. So I just try to be as nice as possible. My God, it's but I it's gone.
00;32;22;25 - 00;32;47;07 Unknown Well, yeah. It hasn't like, been a big deal. I don't really have. No I don't have any really. Anyone saying I shorties this person. But we'll make it happen. Yeah. We didn't make it 12 years late. They are, you know, so funny. So after winning your X Award, like, did that open any doors for you? What did that do for you that opened up way more doors and I expect.
00;32;47;07 - 00;33;06;02 Unknown Really? Cause you get off stage and you have to run into your after award interview and you have to walk through this like paparazzi of people almost, but they're all creators. So it's something like out of a movie, like you just see a bunch of people like you. Congratulations, man. But you also got the girls that are like, oh, we gotta work,
00;33;06;05 - 00;33;26;29 Unknown Oh, like, wait, what? So I was like, I couldn't focus, and I'm like, I just open up a lot of collab opportunities. A lot of production companies reaching out and a lot of people just wanting to be a part or see what I had going. So yeah, at that after that, that year was just uphill. I was busy and I don't think it's slow since.
00;33;27;05 - 00;33;51;00 Unknown Yeah, yeah. So I'm, I'm trying to slow it down for myself. But the treadmills on like nine. Yes. They give me a second. I'm trying to juggle like actual life too. So yeah. Absolutely right. Goes back. That definitely gets in the way. So guys, go vote for Shorty's world so that he can win his second award against some, like, real good competition.
00;33;51;00 - 00;34;11;06 Unknown Yeah, right. Yes, yes. We need to take this one on, guys. Probably the last one, but we got to take it home. What do you mean, the last one? This is probably the last award I'm probably going for. I'm still going for an avian, of course, but after next year, I'll be behind the scenes probably 90% of the time, so I won't.
00;34;11;06 - 00;34;28;27 Unknown I don't want to be, like, in the forefront of, like, creator career. I want I want the other creators to have it and they should take some trophies home. It's like I said, yeah, you guys deserve it too. I deserve more. But you know, I want, I want, I want my people's to win. I want to see my even if it's friendly rivalry.
00;34;28;29 - 00;34;50;09 Unknown Hell, even if it's real rivalry, I want to see my people's wins, especially the male side, because there's only so few of us. Yeah. And we're being spread amongst the mass of women. But I feel like it's always, especially when it comes to men, because there's so many more women and, you know, there's a lot of created. But for men it's always the same ones getting.
00;34;50;11 - 00;35;12;20 Unknown Yeah. Nominated. Right. It's the rotation. Yeah. They again, it's so difficult to come in this space and stand out as a, as a male male. But you did a good job by you know the way that you're producing and directing and doing the funny side of it, I know because I know when people come to Miami, when girls are torn to Miami, there's a list, you know, I said, how would I get on that list?
00;35;12;20 - 00;35;30;06 Unknown Yeah. So I'm glad I did. I'm glad the agencies, every agency in the masters of Florida look at Shorty's world. Yeah. You can you can go work. Go work. You're in technical work with him. Yeah. And I'm always I'm always talking to the agents like, yeah, send them to me first. Don't don't don't send them to such and such.
00;35;30;07 - 00;35;46;10 Unknown Good. Yeah I want the first scene. Yeah. But for other reasons. But but it always goes out. It always goes well. And I find this. I find it all to be surreal. And I'm like, how did I get here? I was fixing airplanes and breakdancing, like a couple of years ago. Now I'm just. That's so cool, man.
00;35;46;10 - 00;36;04;14 Unknown Yeah. I'm like, what? I don't even consider myself where I am. But yeah, it's just a flow. And I have to, you know, just find a way to connect and disconnect from that. And then the personal life. Oh it's a, it's a lot. Yeah. It's definitely a lot. But you, you, you've done a lot which is also cool right.
00;36;04;17 - 00;36;29;21 Unknown Like you said you were, you were doing fixing planes a few years ago. And then you pop up on the scene and you're winning awards and you know. So that is really cool. It's cool to have you at the like star show, you know? Right. Like what's achievements unlocked. Yeah, exactly. I'm ready for that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So you're saying that you're going to step out a little bit from the performing.
00;36;29;21 - 00;36;51;29 Unknown What I know you said you want other people to win and whatnot, but what is the other reason that you want to maybe take a step back? So motive mode. Mau mau mau mau mau mau mau Mau. Most of it is just, most of it is just me, like, really focusing on, like, a future for myself.
00;36;52;02 - 00;37;26;05 Unknown Not to say that this isn't what I'm. But I want. I'm. I'm leaning into the more of the quiet life, the slower life. But I still love the space, the atmosphere, the people in it. It's all love for the most part. I want I just want to be behind the scenes. I love creating and I love people seeing what I create, which is what makes me more proud about being nominated, because that's what that's why I do what I do is because I want to create, and I want people to like what I create and eventually be making my own movies, like full length, because I am working on a short
00;37;26;05 - 00;37;46;13 Unknown as well, full length movie, like a whole DVD, full of comedy, but with certain scenes in it. And I just want to see how that feels. How long is that going to be? Like a full like our, our thing? I think our 20 okay enough to get enough to get enough to get 4 to 5 scenes, actual scenes in but with an entire plot.
00;37;46;16 - 00;38;05;16 Unknown Yeah. Comedy in it. Something like, I don't know if you've seen Friday or The Flash, but anything that funny. But somehow I somehow I'm going to lead each scene to that scene. But I don't want it to be raunchy or like, yeah, like, oh wait, is it going to be a different girl every scene, every time? Every single time.
00;38;05;18 - 00;38;22;24 Unknown And I need it to be like, I need it to be TikTok. Funny. I need it to be go to the theaters. Funny but hilarious. Just the idea of it sounds hilarious. So I think it's going to be a hit. And you, I should actually do like an actual DVD. Oh, 100. Like there's no way I can do an hour or 20 and not put it on a do.
00;38;22;25 - 00;38;41;11 Unknown Yeah. And then you have like the little box you know, with like a nice little funny picture. See me you see me right now I love that. Yeah. I'm I'm writing. I do a lot of writing in my spare time, however much that is because, again, personal life is a thing and this creator life is a thing. So I try to take time to write and write and write.
00;38;41;12 - 00;39;04;22 Unknown Nice. I've written everything I've ever produced. We got to see something he's done. Yeah, yeah, I get it. I show you guys, you know, because, I don't subscribe to people. No, no, it's cool, it's cool. I put, I put all my trailers, like, all the good important trailers on my X1. Oh, go on his act. So. So you can see all of the stuff there, in skit form before, at least at a scene, you'll get a good laugh.
00;39;04;22 - 00;39;27;24 Unknown You're going to get laughing for the scene stars. So how long does it take for you to write a scene, produce it, edit it posted? Like how long does one scene take for you? Can we be honest? Yeah, writing takes about a day. Okay, maybe less. Sometimes it depends. If I hit it just then, it's like 30 minutes per filming.
00;39;27;24 - 00;39;46;00 Unknown It. An hour. Yeah. So you could do like, let's say you could do ten scenes in a month if I wanted to. 100%. Yeah, yeah. And produce editing and producing two hours. Yeah. So that's why I do work for a lot of other creators as well. And I film for a lot of other creators and edit for them.
00;39;46;00 - 00;40;03;23 Unknown So I roll it out real quick. So but sometimes I get stacked up with a bunch of other things because I am more than just talent and producer. I have to do things for other people, but I also have to make time for myself. So I'm pretty fast. So then what does a day look like for you?
00;40;03;28 - 00;40;24;28 Unknown If you're watching this right now, I bet you care about how you look, feel, and smell. Especially smell. And that's why I'm here to talk to you about King Rilla. They make all natural soaps, shampoos, lip balms and deodorants for men. But I'm not gonna lie. I use them as well. They use organic ingredients that keep you feeling fresh all day long.
00;40;24;29 - 00;40;39;07 Unknown And trust me, you deserve to treat yourself like a king. So do yourself and your girlfriend a favor by visiting them at King rilla.com. You won't regret it. Oh, and don't forget to use my promo code Lexus Star to get 15% off your order.
00;40;39;11 - 00;40;41;25 Unknown So I'm up pretty early because I am ex-military.
00;40;41;25 - 00;41;00;13 Unknown I'm up at like five. Usually make breakfast, talk to my girl a few times. And then I just get started with my day based off if I have a scene that day. I don't want to do anything the night before. I just want to sleep. Make sure all my notes are good. All my camera equipment's charge.
00;41;00;13 - 00;41;16;15 Unknown Everything's good. And typically I just play music until to time to go to the model shows up. You know, because I have a whole clothing line. Oh, nice. For the girls to wear, they pick, I, they get to pick whatever they want from my store. And I have so much I, I need to see this. What's good about some.
00;41;16;15 - 00;41;34;11 Unknown I mean, I wear my own shoes all the time. I, I mean, my shirt is kind of messed up, but I, Okay, so for girls, what kind of clothes you have? Like, like bikinis. Thong is mostly for girls. Bikinis, thongs, leggings, sports bras, hats. I have goodie bags for every girl that comes on set. Let me follow this.
00;41;34;11 - 00;41;51;08 Unknown Now, do you have it? Do you have an IG for it? Well, I don't have an IG for. It's just a website. Shorties things.com shorties things.com. Let me just write this down so that I don't forget because I do not have the best memory. No, it's all good. All these things that come. Okay. That's cool. I'm gonna look at it.
00;41;51;10 - 00;42;11;06 Unknown It it's pulled up. There we go. Cool. Okay. This is fun. I'll look at it later. Yeah, yeah, I have booty shorts. I just just finally was able to create, like, thongs. Nice. Because girls eat those up. Because I'm sure I had just been dealing with cheeks the whole time. Okay. No, I don't want the granny panties to be, but I finally got thongs and I finally got, g-strings.
00;42;11;07 - 00;42;29;21 Unknown Okay. And they eat that up, but it's so hard to slap your logo on a G-string because it's so small, but. Right. I find a way. I'm. I'm a designer too, so I. That's a led to the resume. Yeah. And I just was able to sit down for, like, hours and days and just produce this store where girls can go and look and say, hey, I want this.
00;42;29;21 - 00;42;45;19 Unknown I want this, I want that for the scene order on the way. Wear it for the scene. Okay? So they have to wear your clothes for your scene. They don't necessarily have to, but I, I set up the option to see if it was something that they would lean into. Of course you get your occasional models like, absolutely not.
00;42;45;19 - 00;43;03;01 Unknown Yeah, I'm not doing that unless you're paying me. And I'm like, okay, I'm out. But 95% of the girls are like, yeah, oh my God, please, I need the tube top. And I'm like, yeah, I got you. Yeah. But bikinis I'm working on the most. It's mostly for girls. Like most of the clothes in my store for girls.
00;43;03;01 - 00;43;27;27 Unknown I do have a thing for guys hats and hoodies and t shirts. Shoes are for me. But I do have a lot of people who want flip flops, sandals and cool stuff in, like, hotels and, like, staying nice. A bathrobes. But yeah, I put that together for the. So when girls do come on set, they're excited, they're excited, and I get excited because if it's a new model and I'm like, oh, you look so good in that.
00;43;27;28 - 00;43;42;27 Unknown Yeah. Even though a model has worn something previous, it's still a new model. And I'm just excited because I'm like, oh my God. Like like my brand is on you, is on you. And that is such that there's not a moment where I'm just like, yeah, yeah, I'm always excited and happy because it's like it's always brand new to me.
00;43;42;27 - 00;44;02;05 Unknown And yeah, I want to see this happen again and again and again. And then typically we do the promos, which takes like maybe like 15 minutes and we have a good time. So many laughs, so many bloopers I love bloopers. Bloopers are putting together a blooper reel, by the way. Nice ruins. Your scene is done. Do you put the bloopers at the end?
00;44;02;06 - 00;44;30;15 Unknown I do, I should Holy right. Moneymaker. Right over here. She's got money. All right, I'll. I'll do, like, 5% for the hour. Did not think of that. Oh, my God, that's good. Hilarious. Yeah. Okay. Okay, okay. We're rolling. Yeah. Stole. Think though. Thinking. Oh, yeah. Man, I don't know. You know, we shouldn't even do that. There is some bloopers that we have sometimes that I'm just like, I just look at it and I'm dying of laughter.
00;44;30;21 - 00;44;48;11 Unknown Post bloopers because I do want outside. I want outside people to see, like, we have fun on set. Yeah. There's more to it. Yeah, yeah, we are human. You know? That's why we did the podcast. It's a humanize. Yeah. We're not just humping each other all the time. Like, he's like, I'm I'm. Trust me, y'all out there are way more freaking.
00;44;48;13 - 00;45;04;01 Unknown Yeah. Do you know we're just doing. And it's visible people judging or worse. Yeah. So that's what I want them to see like and I and they see it they my fans always give me feed is like yo you like you have so much fun I said, I do. I'm like, I don't want to do anything else but this right now.
00;45;04;03 - 00;45;32;25 Unknown Yeah, it just makes me happy. So yeah, that's what an average every day seems like. It's just fun. Just having fun on camera. That's awesome acting. You seem like you're a really chill guy, so I'm sure like the vibes are are good with your costars. Yeah. I mean, when you like, you've been together for a really long time and then you got to film sometimes and I'm like, sometimes I because I edit our videos and I'm like, damn, I was, yeah, you really do.
00;45;32;25 - 00;45;59;20 Unknown Oh, good. I don't even like I don't even need to to hear just my face. I'll get annoyed like he didn't put the camera wrong and I'm just like, oh my God, I'm so sorry. Yeah. That's why you edit now. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. I learned that early. But I guess I'll just see, I guess, I guess I can see a mature guy in general, but when it comes to the profession side of it, like I learned, even my first big model, I was like, you.
00;45;59;22 - 00;46;22;04 Unknown Comfort is like the most important thing to provide because you hear horror stories about a lot of male talent and they just. Yeah, the girls just did not have a good time. Yeah. And how how do you get to a whole scene? Yeah. If you started off with a bad vibe and I'm. I made sure when my costars come on set like, it's, it's all hugs and laughs and let's, let's just chat up about random stuff.
00;46;22;04 - 00;46;39;27 Unknown Yeah. Once we get to see, like, the scene flows. But after that. So no one's like mad or angry. Yeah. We shake hands, we give hugs, we go I step away. So comfort is huge. I tell every male talent, even older knew him like you need to make these girls feel. Because they run this day like you got to make them feel.
00;46;39;27 - 00;46;59;27 Unknown Yeah, but some girls can come on set and like man, man, man man. But you still got to be like, yeah, it's okay, Mister Rogers, man. You just got to be the nice guy no matter what. But I haven't had any issues, so it's been smooth. I think that's why I where I am today. Good. Nice. You did say that you are in a relationship.
00;47;00;02 - 00;47;33;04 Unknown I am. So, how does that affect how does work affect your relationship or does it affect it at all? This is my first relationship with, someone that actually isn't also a creator, but not of the same area. Is challenging. It's something is something to, like, build strength on and see like how how strong two people can be within this because there are other content creator couples.
00;47;33;06 - 00;47;51;16 Unknown I mean, boom, I mean, look at you. Yeah. So it's like, you really get tested a lot to see the strength of. Can you keep doing this? Is it best if someone just takes a step back? Is it best if someone doesn't do this? Is it better to have non content creator partners? Why you are a content creator I think is possible.
00;47;51;16 - 00;48;15;00 Unknown I was one before to believe that it's better one or the other, but I'm living proof that I think it's definitely possible, even though I'm kind of it's kind of a new relationship. It's just it hasn't been challenging like any other way. Like, oh, I can't do this or I can't do that. It's still like she respects me and what I do.
00;48;15;02 - 00;48;34;08 Unknown So there's no jealousy and not. No she understands what I do. And she knows that it's work. The crazy part is I have my little moments where I'm just like, I don't, I don't like that, but but I'm biting my tongue. I'm not to the extent where I'm, like, keeping it to myself. Yeah, I am expressing.
00;48;34;08 - 00;48;53;23 Unknown You have to express yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. She she is understand. She's. I would be more upset if she wasn't listening. But she when I do express, she pays attention and she says okay I'll do better to just in respect. You know what you don't feel comfortable with. Yeah. And it is just going really well. And I see I see an amazing future.
00;48;53;24 - 00;49;12;29 Unknown Oh that's exciting. We wish you the best. And we're both nominated. I'm like, oh okay, you're an email. We're not giving names up. But we are both nominated for X bids and we we won't even say what category because then we're going to go to New Bing and we're going to go do nothing. Okay. I'm going to ask you a few rapid fire questions.
00;49;13;02 - 00;49;28;12 Unknown Let's go. Okay. Oh, I stop you there. Before we start, how about you put on the glasses and you film? Let me just. That's a picture. Okay, so here we go. I don't know if these look good on me. Does it matter? I didn't know if these look good on me either, but. So, just to explain to people.
00;49;28;12 - 00;49;46;10 Unknown Meta called us last week, and we're part of the, rising creators. That's what it was. We're part of the rising creators on Instagram and Facebook, and they asked us to film with, you know, the glasses. So let's try that out. So if you want to take a video, you gotta keep your finger on it, press it.
00;49;46;12 - 00;50;02;26 Unknown You hear that in blue. So now when so wet, when I'm gone. So now it's flashing. And you just interview. Interviewer. But I'm asking when you're going to, when this is going to be edited it. What are we going to use. These are that both okay. Gotcha. So not thinking just quick answers. You think I'm skipping. All right.
00;50;02;26 - 00;50;31;25 Unknown Go okay. Go. Let's go. All right. Morning person or night owl. Morning, person. Miami or anywhere else? Anywhere else. Biggest flex right now. Award winner. Ooh, snap. Bam. One word people used to describe you. Chill, chill. Definitely not short. Nah. One word you think describes you humble. Like that. Fame or money? If you had to choose one name.
00;50;31;28 - 00;50;56;29 Unknown Really? Yeah. What's the song that doesn't look, you know what I'm talking about. You did not give me enough notes, but this is, Wait, the, it's one of those R&B singers. Yeah. Narrows it right down. Close. And the hose. I just want to be successful. Oh, my God, I drink. Yeah. This drink. Okay.
00;50;56;29 - 00;51;19;27 Unknown Well, I want my bad. Who's right? Right, right. Both from Canada. Right. We used to be neighbors. Ronald from Ariana or from Montreal? Toronto. Instagram. A real life, real life most overrated trend right now. I'm streaming.
00;51;20;00 - 00;51;24;23 Unknown Owning all the time. We're not talking about it. Don't let me contradict myself.
00;51;24;26 - 00;51;42;10 Unknown Do you trust people easily or. No, I do actually. Same. I don't think it's a good quality. I'm not. I'm. I'm not mad. No, I'm honestly not mad that I trust people. I'm a huge beneficial doubt giver like. And I'll give it over and over and over, regardless of how many times you've stabbed me.
00;51;42;13 - 00;51;57;12 Unknown I've become a little bit more selective about who I give it to. But if I don't give it to you, we probably just don't talk. Yeah, for the most part, I'm. I have a hero complex, too, so that's probably why that plays a card. But wait, what's a hero complex like? I just, I just want, like, I want everybody to win.
00;51;57;14 - 00;52;02;18 Unknown Even if I don't like, I just, I just want to make sure everybody's good around me. Yeah. So
00;52;02;21 - 00;52;19;15 Unknown are you loud or observant? Observant? Yeah, I get all that. Yeah. Birdie. So what keeps you going when you're off your game. Sleep. Good answer. Do you move in silence or let people know I definitely like moving in silence.
00;52;19;15 - 00;52;42;16 Unknown I like my bad because because I'm an observer I just rather just watch and then pay attention everybody else. What's more dangerous. Confidence or ego. Ego. Yeah it was big time. It does nothing for nobody. So many people have so many egos. Biggest lesson this year. Be patient. Be understanding. Control your emotions. But you seem like you're all of that.
00;52;42;16 - 00;53;00;17 Unknown All right I can be. It depends on how deep my circumstances. But I'll say overall be patient, understanding and just love as much as you can. Nice. Are you patient when you play video games and you lose? I am okay. Good. He seems like a really chill guy, like, I. I don't see you like getting into an argument and screaming really loud.
00;53;00;17 - 00;53;17;07 Unknown Like you got a really nice work. You really have to work. Yeah, to piss me off like if you piss me off, you do need some real heavy to, like, at this level. Just so you sound crazy. It's like. It's literally like going to jail in, like, Puerto Rico. You had to do some crazy. Yeah, to go to jail.
00;53;17;12 - 00;53;38;14 Unknown Craziest DM you've ever gotten? Oh, I love when he does that. We we're going to cry. We're going to cut all the parts that he does that and put them all together. Yeah. Please please please, please have to. My sister. Oh, my. What, what? Yeah. And then I just ignore it so it comes in, it turns into this.
00;53;38;14 - 00;54;06;03 Unknown Oh, my sister's in your town. And. Are you serious? Yeah. It's pretty bad that there's other things to stop. That's the worst. Like, oh, my God. Okay, let's do two more. Who inspired your grind early on? In this industry? In life in general? Well, no, let's let's go with this industry. Oh, man. Who inspired my, I will say her name is Miss Trigger Happy.
00;54;06;03 - 00;54;27;16 Unknown She's my right hand man. I seen how she went from nothing to one of the biggest dominatrix in the industry. We don't go any. We don't go to any event without each other. Nice. We are one in the same person. Almost amazing. Oh, yeah. She. She's definitely my biggest, like, catapult into all of this. Cool. Love it.
00;54;27;16 - 00;54;55;29 Unknown Okay, last question. What is next for Shorty's world? Hopefully taking a an award on next week or week after that. I will be working with, I would be working with a few big names this summer. Ain't telling who, because if I tell who, you ain't going to be excited. When, exactly. Yeah. So I'm working with four huge names this summer.
00;54;56;01 - 00;55;17;14 Unknown But that will be my decline of being talent. If anybody wants to shoot a shorty, well, you better hurry up. You better hurry up. Clock is ticking. Yeah, and then leaning in, I will be focused on awards season for Abby in next year. Just producing the scene that should get nominated for that award. So you already even know which scene is going to be like.
00;55;17;14 - 00;55;43;29 Unknown Yeah. I plan if anybody knows me, I'm always like, six months ahead. Amazing. Because it keeps me calm, keeps me ready. So I'm not panicking. Yeah. When it stuff comes up. So, look for Shorty's World Agency next year. And obviously still the production company. More clothes will be designed. I'm working on, crop top hoodies for women, letterman jackets for women.
00;55;44;01 - 00;56;10;29 Unknown And I am going to announce here that I will be doing a Shorty's World booth at new Jersey exotica, which will be fun with six huge models. And it's going to be the biggest booth they have there. Really. So that's exciting. Oh, Platten. I'm planning some things. Oh, he's flat. You heard it here first. You heard it here first on the Alexa start.
