About this episode

Eight months ago, The Lexis Star Show was just getting started. Today, we’re sharing the biggest milestones, lessons, and business decisions that helped us grow into a media brand reaching 60 million monthly views across platforms. In this solo update, we talk about what we’ve learned from building the podcast, why we’re launching our own website, how we’re thinking about long-term growth, avoiding burnout, and why every creator should focus on owning their audience—not just chasing views.

00:00:00:00 - 00:00:21:03 Unknown Today we are doing a solo episode with Theo Perez. What's up? I mean, we are one, so I call it a solo episode because it's the same thing, right? What I mean is that we don't have a guest today, and what we wanted to do was just talk about a few things today, give you guys a little bit of an update on what's been going on.

00:00:21:03 - 00:00:48:14 Unknown So we're going to do like a little life update, right. It's been a minute. We're going to talk about the new website for the Lexus Star Show. And what's the third point baby audience. The asset. So that's the new a new software launching for creators or aspiring creators will go more into details. Exactly. So I want to take a second to just thank everybody who listens to the pod.

00:00:48:16 - 00:01:13:11 Unknown Thank you so much. Is the pod. It's been a journey. We launched about eight months ago. Yes, last September, last September and 125. We've just been growing and growing and growing and that wouldn't be possible with you guys. So a huge thank you. We really appreciate it. Thank you. Merci, gracias.

00:01:13:13 - 00:01:43:22 Unknown Shukran, shukran. I don't know anymore. That's Gracie. Anyways, so we just really wanted to. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you guys. We we love having guests on the show. We love that that that creators reach out to us to be on the show. That means a lot, because in the beginning, it was always us, like, you know, trying to trying to fish and trying to get people to come on the show because it was new, obviously.

00:01:43:22 - 00:02:02:16 Unknown And when you have like no followers, people are less. Well, yeah, the concept was improving, so it was harder to get people on the show. But thank God we had friends that came and helped us out to help us, you know, kick start the show. But now things have changed. Now people reach out to us. Big players. Yeah.

00:02:02:20 - 00:02:27:00 Unknown Managers who have a roster of creators, they reach out to us and they want their people or creators to come on the show because they do value this show, because we do have a lot of visibility. Yeah. And it benefits everybody. So initially, I mean, in the beginning when we started, we had no visibility. And then we started getting, you know, we got to 15 mil, 15 million a month across all platforms.

00:02:27:00 - 00:02:51:02 Unknown Yeah. And then it went up to 20 and 30. Yeah. For the past three months we've been at around 40 million views monthly across all platforms. This month were were prospected to reach 60 million. I mean, sorry my love. Is your mic a bit too low? Oh, no, I mean, it's good. Yeah. Okay. Just. Sorry, sorry. That's what you're up to.

00:02:51:03 - 00:03:15:08 Unknown You guys, can you hear me? Hello? So, yeah, this month we're. Well, I mean, there's half a day left. We're going to do a 60 million, maybe a little over. So the show is growing. It's going super well. Yeah. We're in negotiation with three prospect sponsors. That's cool. Yeah. We're looking to hire a higher a producer. That's big.

00:03:15:09 - 00:03:17:04 Unknown We haven't found him yet. Or her

00:03:17:05 - 00:03:41:13 Unknown We haven't found the producer yet, but we're actively looking for a producer. Yeah. Somebody who understands podcasting, social media, and has a background in videography and editing. Because they have to understand all that. Because Theo Paris is our producer. So he's he's he's the he wears all the hats, but he's, we got too much going on.

00:03:41:14 - 00:04:06:00 Unknown We've got much going on for him to be able to do everything too much. And that's another thing that we could talk about, is that we've got too much going on. Yeah, we have now. Yeah. So we need to delegate because it's starting to become a little bit overwhelming. You know, we knew what we got ourselves into when we signed up for, you know, just starting what we've started.

00:04:06:00 - 00:04:31:05 Unknown Not just the show, but everything. We have so many things happening. And I think that it's taken a little toll on on both of us, you know, day and night. My eyes are like we also have like our personal life, which, you know, takes takes aside a little bit because we're constantly working and seven days a week, 24 over seven.

00:04:31:06 - 00:04:57:05 Unknown It's just we we need a break. We need our quality of life. Yeah. You know, we need time for ourselves. We need time also to date more as a couple. Married couple. But yeah, you know, I think delegating is like the 2026 mission for us overall. Yeah, I think we've been we started in January. We've been delegating like crazy and it's been great.

00:04:57:06 - 00:05:15:09 Unknown If you like to read books, go read the book called Buyback Your Time by. I think it's de Martel. I'm not sure. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read this book last year. By the end of the year and then 2026, we told ourselves, let's delegate. And since then we've been growing like crazy. So it's a good thing.

00:05:15:09 - 00:05:36:03 Unknown It's a, it's a it's a leap forward. It's a risk. But yeah, so far so good. Now everything is going fantastic. Everything is going great. But we still need to find a little bit of a balance. Yeah I think that's what our goal should be. Other than that, we did do a little trip to Canada. We did a little trip to Canada.

00:05:36:04 - 00:05:57:21 Unknown Not going to say that it was vacation because it wasn't extremely relaxing. It was to visit family. It was to visit family. It was for me to stock up on chocolates. You know, I've said it. I've said it before. I'll say it again. Kit-Kat in the States sucks. So we socked up on that. We saw our family, we went up north.

00:05:57:21 - 00:06:29:14 Unknown We we spent a day there, you and I. So that was nice. Represent. Yeah. And then. And then we came back, and. And now we're just renovating. Yeah. And work around the house. Yeah. And then just busy. Just busy. Like, even if I'm, like, depressing. I'm just busy. It's just busy. But, like, we need to get everything done in the house to start enjoying it, to start enjoying it and to start just being like, okay, this is done.

00:06:29:16 - 00:06:45:23 Unknown You know? Then we could take a little break and then we can go on to something else. Okay. Because he likes to just he just likes to go from one thing to the other. And it's like I can never catch my breath. So. Yeah, that's that's pretty much what's been happening. I mean, on the hub, we're doing great.

00:06:46:00 - 00:07:10:12 Unknown Yeah, we're we're we're in the 3040s. I mean, in the 30s, we're number 37. It fluctuates from like 35 to 30 6 to 37. So that's great. I never thought that we wouldn't be at such a good ranking. You know, when we started, we were at, like 4000, and then we were just being consistent, so that's great.

00:07:10:14 - 00:07:33:18 Unknown And yeah, IG is doing super good. I am, I'm a professional fruit chef. So if you haven't seen that go check it out. Yeah, that video blew up. That video blew up. It's crazy. Tell me the stats just for our viewers. Okay. Tell me stats. Maybe, you know, I'll put it over the right here. So, I mean, I did a few cutting videos.

00:07:33:19 - 00:08:12:16 Unknown The one that that really worked. Okay. Okay. So okay. Funny story I'm going to tell you the stats. So 2.1 million views, 313 days of watch time. That is just wild okay. And then we got we reached 1.5 mil accounts and comments and. Oh yeah. One second like 66,000 666,000 likes. Saves 14,547 2563 comments. That's crazy. 136,373 shares.

00:08:12:20 - 00:08:39:15 Unknown That's insane. And we got 24,282 followers from that. Now I'm going to say something. Okay. My most liked picture on IG ever with reshared likes was a picture I took with Jay Mack. Okay. And I said to myself, one day I'm going to beat this without him in the picture and beat it. You've seen it on everything except for the like.

00:08:39:16 - 00:09:00:19 Unknown I know I beat it in the likes. I got 34,000 likes on that picture with him, and this one has 66,000 likes. The only thing I'm 2000 short because he got me way more followers. Okay. He got me 26,000 followers with that post. Thank you. Jay Mac. Yeah, and we're at 24, which he will come on the show one day.

00:09:00:20 - 00:09:04:20 Unknown One day.

00:09:04:22 - 00:09:22:05 Unknown So I'm missing 2000 followers to like officially beat that. That video is still going. Yeah. So I'm sure you're going to get there. It hasn't even been a week has it? I know, but it's still growing. Exactly. The algorithm is still pumping it to people. It's going to happen, but I'm sure I'm sure you'll beat them. This is.

00:09:22:05 - 00:09:43:17 Unknown When did I post this? Five days ago. It hasn't even been a week. Wow. Yeah. So that's pretty much that for life updates. For life updates, we get the business gets a business business business. But this is do it. Do it how you do with your mouth. Let's get the business I can't do that. Let's get to business.

00:09:43:19 - 00:10:13:10 Unknown So we launched a new website for the Alexis Star Show. I'm going to just say a little something and then you can take over. So, you know, we do have adult content creators on here. We are on YouTube. Sometimes some things get flagged, right? So if ever we were to lose any platform, any platform, we have our website now and you can watch all.

00:10:13:12 - 00:10:35:10 Unknown Oh no. Was that sorry something fell. So if anything, if we ever lose YouTube or if, you know, we get banned from somewhere, at least we have our own websites. So. Theo. Paris. Yes. Give me one second. God.

00:10:35:12 - 00:11:01:02 Unknown Just want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. Okay. Yeah. So what's it called? What? The website. The website? Lexus. Our show. Is that what you're talking about? That right? Yeah, but I didn't say the name of the game. So the Lexus are the reason why we started that was because. So we signed with an agency for the podcast that that are helping us grow.

00:11:01:04 - 00:11:29:18 Unknown And essentially what they told us is, you know, if one day Spotify closes or YouTube closes or bands you or whatever it is, whatever the reason. What do you have? And if you're relying on these third party platforms, social media, whatever, you know, tomorrow we can get banned on any platform. So what do you have left? Nothing. So we're we open our own, you know, website streaming service.

00:11:29:18 - 00:11:50:05 Unknown So essentially we can go on the website, you can go and watch the episodes and we have nobody telling us what to do, what not to say what. So if you go on the website, you'll get the most raw versions of the videos. Also, for every video, if your creator entrepreneur, you want to come on the website, sorry on the show, on the website.

00:11:50:05 - 00:12:17:22 Unknown When we post your episode, we also write a blog article on that episode. So that's really cool. It's a great addition because it's an extra something that we give the viewers. If you like the episode and you want to go read more about about it or The Guest, then you'll have something. We also add little pictures from like BTS, pictures attached to the blog and the video and what what's what else?

00:12:18:00 - 00:12:41:02 Unknown I mean, you can subscribe to our email list also on the website. So whenever we release an episode, you get an update. You'll be the first to know whenever we release something. And we mostly always release Thursday 67 time. You're the first to know, you know. Yeah. And it's also a great added visibility for a guest.

00:12:41:02 - 00:13:00:02 Unknown If you're on the show, you know, we would put you like every episode is on Spotify, Amazon Music, any asks feed podcast whatever YouTube now in all social media now you're also on our website which drives a lot of traffic. So it's just an added extra value for whoever comes on the show.

00:13:00:04 - 00:13:11:00 Unknown it's a permanent home for every episode. With a blog, it's greater visibility for a guest, greater visibility for brand partners, future brand partners.

00:13:11:00 - 00:13:30:22 Unknown It's also a better experience for audience. It's more legit to like when you have your website, you guys check it out, go visit. You'll see. It's like it's an easy experience. It's nice. It's better than scrolling on all the other platforms. There's there's too much going on there. This is just us, you know. You know, you can browse by categories.

00:13:30:22 - 00:13:54:00 Unknown You can search for guests, read articles and watch full episodes in one place without relying on social media and third party platforms. But the whole point is to basically build an independent media brand, because Lexis, our show, is a media brand, it's a brand, so we got to do our own thing. Basically. That's the whole point. Yeah, that's pretty much what we've been trying to do my own thing.

00:13:54:01 - 00:14:10:20 Unknown But now we're there. We have we got 60 million views a month. Yeah, that's a lot of you. So we have to like, have our own thing. Yeah. You know now is the time. And so we did that and we spent a lot of time building it. And yeah, thanks to our partners, you know we've been making it happen and it's ready to go now.

00:14:10:20 - 00:14:32:01 Unknown So ready to go. Com Lexus show. Com Lexus show com. My bad. Get it right get it right. Get it tight. Yes. Lexus com. So take a look at the website. Let us know what you think because we always love the feedback. Comment down below. And the other thing was the software program. Yeah. So we released a software program.

00:14:32:01 - 00:15:06:08 Unknown We soft launched it. It's called audience two number two asset.io. It's a SaaS platform. And what it is is we've realized that we give out a lot of tip for free, you know, which is fine. I'm all about helping people. The thing is, I don't have time to help people. Yeah, you don't have time for busy. So we decided to do our own software where, you know, for a one time price, you get access to a software online where you get specific courses on whatever your goal is.

00:15:06:08 - 00:15:25:11 Unknown So the goal is, you know, we've also realized that a lot of people who come here, they have millions of views, but they don't monetize, they don't make half the money make. That happens a lot. We make a killing. And, you know, we try to help people, especially new creators that come on the show. We try to give them as much tips as we can because we we like to see people succeed.

00:15:25:12 - 00:15:51:16 Unknown Exactly. So we want to see you succeed. So we created audience to assist IO for aspiring creators. Or if you are a starting or medium size creator, you want to find a way to to monetize, monetize your audience. This is the course that you need to do. Yeah. So it's video courses. It's also my text. But also you gotta, you know, you can also book a one on one with us.

00:15:51:19 - 00:16:10:04 Unknown But there's also like a questionnaire. Yeah. There's a questionnaire that you fill out because the software will determine where you're at and what you need to learn to be able to monetize. So it's really I'm not taking you by the hand and telling you, oh, go get views or whatever. This is really to teach you how to monetize your step by step.

00:16:10:09 - 00:16:33:23 Unknown Very detailed for anybody who wants to monetize their audience, because what's the point of having views and likes if you're not making money? Yeah, if you have 10,000 followers, you should be able to make some money from that. Like there's views and like we're in 2026 now and this will be true even, you know, going in the future, going forward.

00:16:34:00 - 00:16:49:15 Unknown If you have a follower, a following and you're not monetizing it, you're really doing all this for nothing. For nothing. You're just wasting your time. It's not cool to have a million followers and not make money and not make money from it. You know what I mean? Like you're influencing the world. You're doing something. People are watching people.

00:16:49:15 - 00:17:14:09 Unknown You have eyes on you. You need to be able to monetize that. So that's why we started audience two assets asset IO. So I'm going to put the link in the description. Go check it out. And yeah sounds good. Thank you for being my co-host today. It's so nice sometimes to you know just how familiar faces. You know no not half a your faces but not have to have the stress all the time.

00:17:14:10 - 00:17:31:00 Unknown You know, because it's always like okay, don't forget to ask this. Don't forget to ask that. Now that's that's what I like about having you here is that it's just me and you, baby. Love you baby. Right?

00:17:31:02 - 00:17:49:18 Unknown So that's pretty much it with was been going on with us. It's a short episode, but this episode it must need it's a must have a little update on it. Yeah, it's a little update. I mean, you guys watch us. You guys follow us. So I thought it would be. It would be good to just give you a little life update.

00:17:49:18 - 00:18:13:10 Unknown And again, thank you guys for supporting us. It means the world to us. And that's pretty much it. We have some fun guests coming up all the time. We just shot a really cool episode yesterday. Yeah, I'm not going to say anything, but it was really good. Very, very good. I feel a lot better from it. Yeah, without saying too much.

00:18:13:10 - 00:18:25:16 Unknown So that's pretty much it. Do you want to add anything else, my darling? No, I think that was it. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Well, again, thank you guys for watching. See you next week. No. By.
