00:00:03:14 - 00:00:25:18 Unknown Chasing me. Thinking of the enemy. Do you love the sheep? The is a isn't. I'll be filming for a new show and we got some new girls picked out. Not the girls from Teen Mom. Hilary Swank. 52 years old. Pranking with our third child. Can you put in a good word for me? Of course. I rather have you on the NFL's stands for.

00:00:25:18 - 00:00:36:07 Unknown Not for long. So why can't it be me? Exactly. I just worked really hard and made sure that it was.

00:00:36:09 - 00:01:10:23 Unknown This show is presented by King Rilla. Hey, everyone, it's Lexus from the Lexus Star show. And tonight we are in beautiful Palm Beach, Florida at the Palm Beach Resort and Spa for the mission projects Blue carpet experience. This event is more than just networking and success. The mission project is shining light on important causes, including protecting vulnerable children, fighting human trafficking, and helping people affected by addiction.

00:01:11:03 - 00:01:28:20 Unknown It's a beautiful night, guys. It's a little bit windy. Okay. My hair is a little crazy. I'm glad I put it in a ponytail, but let's go check out the view. Look at the view, guys. It is so beautiful. The beach is right there. Look at the clouds. The nice little sunset. But now it's time to interview some people.

00:01:28:20 - 00:01:32:01 Unknown Let's do.

00:01:32:03 - 00:01:35:19 Unknown I want you to.

00:01:35:21 - 00:02:13:03 Unknown If I can show you how I met your name someday. And you could see.

00:02:13:05 - 00:02:32:00 Unknown I am here with Janell Evans. How are you tonight? I'm good. How are you? I'm super good. What happened to your leg? Why are you in crutches? So I had an injury back in April and I fell. And then that resulted in knee surgery in June. And now I have a nerve disease, so that's no fine. You. You recently had a mommy makeover?

00:02:32:01 - 00:02:57:16 Unknown Yes I did. How is that? It was great. Actually, I recovered from that better than I recovered from my knee injury. It's crazy. I had so much more done. It's the foot. It's the foot that got hurt. It wasn't the rest. No, it wasn't. It wasn't the tummy tug or the repair of the lipo. Like we're strong. Like when it comes to giving birth and like, you know, fixing our bodies up, but then it's a freaking leg or a knee that's going to get you.

00:02:57:21 - 00:03:19:10 Unknown I know, I know, it's wild. Okay, so you got pregnant at a very young age. How has that shaped you to be the person you are today? I think I learned a lot from my mistakes. So I think a lot of like trial and errors in my life. I've learned from all that. And I think a lot of people, they look back and they still watch them now thinking like that's the same person.

00:03:19:10 - 00:03:38:18 Unknown But really, I've grown from that and I wish I can share my life more, which I'm going to be. So I'm excited about that. But as for right now, I share my life more on social media. So. And how are you going to be sharing your life? I feel like you got something under your sleeve. Yes, actually, later on this month, at the end of this month, I'll be filming up in New York City.

00:03:38:18 - 00:03:57:11 Unknown I'll be filming for a new show, and we got some new girls picked out. Not the girls from Teen Mom and yeah, it's me and my old producer Larry, so I'm really excited. Is that for Teen Mom? No, it's for something brand new. Okay. If you if MTV gave you your own reality show, what would you call it?

00:03:57:13 - 00:04:15:11 Unknown Maybe just Janelle, I like that. Just. Janelle. Yeah. Because then it could be really anything. It's kind of like my TikTok pages. I don't stick to a niche. I just post whatever. That's it. Yeah, I do the same thing. Sometimes, like, I need to find a niche, but then I'm like, screw it. No, no. Then you then you stick yourself in that hole and you can't get out of it.

00:04:15:14 - 00:04:30:05 Unknown Yeah, like all the mug bangers, they're all just. They're eating all the time. They have to keep going. And I'm like, how are they so skinny? Exactly. Janelle, thank you so much. I hope you have a good night. Thank you.

00:04:30:06 - 00:04:51:08 Unknown You look stunning. Stop, stop. You look good. How are you? How are you? I am so good. What? What is your name and what do you do? My name is Celia Simone. I'm Adrenaline and I am currently to sing at the producer for TMS in New York. Amazing. Any interesting stories you want to share with us? Now? My God, of course.

00:04:51:11 - 00:05:18:07 Unknown Thursday we just got the first look at Hilary Swank, 52 years old, with our third child. We got an exclusive. I was able to ask her, Hilary, what are your cravings? And she told me she's craving Rice Krispie treats and Cheetos. So it's funny because I saw that interview and I was thinking of the time when I was younger and I used to eat Rice Krispies and how, like ten years later, they don't taste the same.

00:05:18:10 - 00:05:39:01 Unknown They do not taste the same. How did you realize that? I don't know what they're putting in there, but it's not good. It's not good. I mean, at this point, I'm. I'm an old lady status. I'm eating, like, very bland, like Kashi. I'm like Patsy. I make my own Rice Krispie now. Oh, smash two toxic in there. Are you nervous?

00:05:39:02 - 00:06:03:01 Unknown I mean, it's amazing. It's super easy. Okay, so you've been with GMC for how long now? Nobody. Five years in January. Okay, so what would be a tip that you would give a journalist who is just starting in the field? Oh my God. So the first thing I will say is you got to go all out. So I didn't do this yet, but people have been asking me to do a story time on how I got hired as first things first.

00:06:03:02 - 00:06:20:00 Unknown You have to go all out. There were times in my career that I didn't go all out, and I regretted it. And I asked God if he got me a job at a network. I would go all out, and I landed a job at TMZ by reaching out to them. And I became a Fox employee. And I still want all out.

00:06:20:00 - 00:06:34:03 Unknown Five years in, I broke the most stories out of any significant period. So amazing. Cheers into another five years. Thank you. You never know my.

00:06:34:05 - 00:06:55:17 Unknown I am here with Tasha and you've been on TV. Haven't you? Yes. You were on. What was it, Palm Beach? Yeah. Members only. Members only. Why is it only members? Why can't. Why can't an average girl like me be there? Nobody says you can't. Okay, so when do I addition? When do I audition? Well, I don't know. We're not on Disney.

00:06:55:19 - 00:07:04:04 Unknown Can you put in a good word for me? Of course. I rather have you on the.

00:07:04:06 - 00:07:24:16 Unknown I love it, I love it. So you have your own brand, correct I do. What is it exactly? The drip. Well I have, I have like, you know, wellness and longevity center in the hotel. You're familiar with the final? I'm fine. Beach and York and I have a line of products that, like. Really turn back the time. Turn back the time.

00:07:24:21 - 00:07:43:23 Unknown I'm getting there. So I need. I need to turn back the time. Yeah. So, you know, wellness and longevity is the fastest growing industry. It's like a $10 trillion. It's wild. And I got into it before anybody knew what it was like. Nobody even knew what wellness and longevity was. Or like all the products that I've created, nobody knew what they were.

00:07:44:00 - 00:08:09:06 Unknown Now everybody, everybody's doing it to be an expert. But I'm the LG baby. She's the OG, the bad B over here. Yeah. What inspired you to get to turn your passion into a business? You know, I was just always into, you know, regenerating because I think, like, I'm from New York and, like, when you go through, like, a tough winter, I always felt like, oh, my God, I need this on.

00:08:09:06 - 00:08:25:13 Unknown I need an IV, I need this, I need that. And then I used to be in the nightlife business. I used to own restaurants and nightclubs and working all night again. Like the next day I had to regenerate in order to go to work. So I used to cold plunge and, you know, do all the IV therapy energize to do all that.

00:08:25:13 - 00:08:42:10 Unknown Like 30 years ago before anybody knew what it was. And I think that's how I got into it. And then I said, you know what? I got to just do this myself because I don't know what I'm, you know, where I'm getting where these people are getting the ingredients. So I know that I source the best products and you can't go wrong if you come to me.

00:08:42:10 - 00:09:06:01 Unknown That's amazing. I'm from Montreal, so I know, I know about the cold. Okay? It is wild. Now I'm hearing Miami living the life no more. You know, no more. No more snow. Because that's just horrible. Thank you so much. Have a good night. Helen. Hi. How are you? Oh, good. How are you? I'm doing. Sorry. I know you were putting on your lip gloss.

00:09:06:02 - 00:09:42:02 Unknown Yes. My little. Let me know when I wish. I just keep my lips. Touch it up. Yeah, okay. Yes. Okay. So you were on below deck. How was that experience like? So actually, I'm the most aft guest on Below deck. Not to be a little. Yeah. Below deck is just truly. It is what it is. I mean, it is if you live that lifestyle and for them to be able to share with, you know, the world, that lifestyle.

00:09:42:02 - 00:09:45:16 Unknown And I think that.

00:09:45:18 - 00:10:11:18 Unknown You know, there's a little drama, but there's always there's always wrong. I'm on vacation with my kids and there's always strong. There's always, always, especially if you bring your kids along. You know what? In life, there's drama. And if there's not, you have a boring life. Exactly. You need. You need a little a little spice. That name the one thing about Below Deck there is a viral meme with the medium well and the medium rare.

00:10:11:19 - 00:10:34:14 Unknown Have you seen it? I have not stopped. No, you haven't seen it? I don't know who the chef was, but he was saying he's like, I need to steaks medium rare or medium well, he couldn't say. You've never seen that. What's up with excitement? I don't know, I don't know, but you gotta you gotta go on Instagram. And right below that chef meme.

00:10:34:14 - 00:11:06:19 Unknown It's so funny. I look like, what else do you have going on? So there's a couple of shows growing as well, but then I'm about to do a penny lunch, so I have these pennies. They're called the candy panties. Okay, tell us more. Okay. So is this technology in the fabric. So your body heat omits the scent from the fabric and it makes you smell like Candido.

00:11:06:21 - 00:11:34:05 Unknown No way. That's cool. Okay, where can we find that? So I'm launching them in two weeks. Okay. It's on Instagram, Facebook and on TikTok, but then also in my store. And then we're doing an actual launch party in New York at the Refinery Hotel, December 11th. Somebody who wants candy panties, they're free that night for the first 50 people.

00:11:34:08 - 00:11:51:13 Unknown Okay, nice. If you want some free candy panties, you know where to go. Thank you so much for your time. Yes. Thank you.

00:11:51:15 - 00:12:15:11 Unknown Hey, I'm Madison Brodsky. Beautiful dress. You look stunning. Thank you so much. You are a celebrity host, correct? Yes. Okay. You seem very confident from the second I saw you. Is that something you've always had, or did you learn to develop it? You know what? Ever since I was a little girl, I always said, when I grow up, I want to do whatever I can to be able to volunteer to be on Entertainment Tonight.

00:12:15:12 - 00:12:35:15 Unknown So I built that confidence up and people will be like, volunteer. Like, that's a real job, that you can do it like it is. And that's what I want to do in life. And they were like, okay, yeah. But like, you're this small town girl from Tampa in Jamaica. Like, there is no way that's like a 1 in 1,000,000 dream, like, yeah, but somebody has to be that one, so why can't it be me?

00:12:35:17 - 00:12:53:10 Unknown And I just worked really hard and made sure that it was. And you know what? The thing is? We're always surrounded by people with that negative. Like, it can't happen to you. You're just this little girl, you know? But it's like, screw you. I believe in myself and that's all that I need, right? As long as you believe in yourself.

00:12:53:11 - 00:13:17:05 Unknown You have no idea how high you can store 1,000%. You just gotta have the right mindset and not let the outside voices bring you down in a little creativity, a little creativity. Just. This is just a teenage. Okay, I need a little tips. You've been doing this for a longer time than I have. What is something? What is the tip that you can give me to make me a better interviewer?

00:13:17:07 - 00:13:37:05 Unknown I think just lean into your natural curiosity. Like if you're wondering it in your mind, that means the audience back home is definitely wondering it as well. So don't be afraid to ask the questions that are naturally coming up for you. Thank you so much. I hope you have a good night. Of course by guy. Thank you so much.

00:13:37:07 - 00:13:58:11 Unknown Who am I here with? Josh? Just Josh on social media. Josh, you guys heard that because I didn't get it. Yeah, it's slow it down. I got you, Jay Z. Josh. So just Josh and what do you do? Just. Josh I'm a social media influencer and actor. And what are you. You know, what are your what are you doing right now?

00:13:58:11 - 00:14:19:11 Unknown What? Do you have any gigs coming up? Yeah. So I have a couple of feature films coming up. Hopefully I'll be able to talk about it like a little later, but. And that was social media. I'm working with Overtime and Live Nation, so we got some big things coming up. That's amazing. Any exciting things coming up either then that you can tell us about?

00:14:19:12 - 00:14:47:09 Unknown Yeah. So starting a podcast soon. Stay tuned for the podcast. We got a YouTube channel going on. We're gonna do some big stuff on the YouTube channel. What's the podcast going to be about this? Like social social topics? Like political topics. Careful. I know you got to get into it, though. Oh, man. You know what? So I have a podcast, and sometimes people get political or they want my opinion and I know they're not going to like my opinion.

00:14:47:09 - 00:15:11:04 Unknown So you just sometimes you gotta know when to zip it. Okay. That's my advice that I can give you because it's not you know, I know you got to get into it. But sometimes, man, it's not you. Yeah. You like, give me a break. I just you know what I mean. Why are you white? Am I white? What do I look like?

00:15:11:05 - 00:15:31:00 Unknown So I would say Latino, but some people say like, Latino is like a ethnicity. So I'm Greek, and I know I don't look like it. Oh, you look Greek. I can see the tan. You got, like, a little golden glow to you. It's the olive skin. It's that olive. Thank you so much. I wish you the best of luck and excited to see what you know.

00:15:31:01 - 00:15:51:17 Unknown We're good to see from you. Of course. Thank you so much. Thanks, Anderson. James Anderson, you've been in the NFL. Correct. I played in the film for two years. Ten years. What has the what has playing in the NFL taught you that life is day to day. Life is day to day. What do you mean by that? The NFL stands for not for long.

00:15:51:18 - 00:16:08:22 Unknown So not really. Well, ten years is a long time. I was blessed to play ten years, but you got to wake up every day and take advantage of your opportunities. I love that. And how did you prepare for life after NFL? I saved my money. I don't buy cars. I'll just save you money. That's what you gotta do.

00:16:08:23 - 00:16:27:12 Unknown That's funny, because I do know somebody who had God was in the NFL and just went crazy. And then after that, it was all gone. You know, that's easy to do. It's a lifestyle. That's a culture. But you got to realize that being in a blessing and a tomorrow is a promise. Yeah. So you got to prepare for tomorrow by living today.

00:16:27:14 - 00:16:45:07 Unknown Love it. What do you have going on right now? Golf, baby. Golf? Absolutely. That's all you do? Just golf. You know, I go off when I get back. Thank you so much. Have a good night. Thank you. Okay. Who do we have here? I am Bo grand. Bo grand and what? What are you known for? I own a mortgage company, Blaze Home Loans.

00:16:45:07 - 00:17:11:08 Unknown We helped sponsor this event here. Mission project summit, palm beach. Amazing. Yeah, and I also was able to speak last night. Yesterday afternoon on the stage. Just telling my story. Some experience I've had in business, some failures. We've overcome that through adversity and how I hope to help other young professionals and entrepreneurs, young fathers and families, really be able to face the trials that come with that position and supporting their family.

00:17:11:10 - 00:17:29:02 Unknown That's amazing. I mean, there's no success without failure. Right. So what is one piece of advice that you would give somebody who's going through a hard time right now? So I'm also a private pilot and private pilot. Yeah. Okay. Where are we going? Where do you want to go? I mean, I don't know, planes. Not very fast. Okay, okay.

00:17:29:03 - 00:17:46:13 Unknown But the reason why I bring that up is because there's a saying that's keep flying the airplane. Okay. And that's an aeronautical decision making. And what that means is you got to keep flying the airplane before you handle anything else. So how to keep going? Exactly. When trials and adversity come up. You got to just take care of what's right in front of you.

00:17:46:13 - 00:18:06:02 Unknown That's going to keep you flying before you worry about any of the other steps ahead. Yeah. Right. If you're you can't navigate a crashed airplane. Do a safe landing. So fly the airplane first, move forward from there, and then make one critical decision at a time after that. That's amazing. Keep flying the plane. Keep flying the plane. Thank you so much.

00:18:06:03 - 00:18:18:10 Unknown Have a good night.

00:18:18:12 - 00:18:38:08 Unknown What is your name? Geraldine Ortega. And what are you known for? I own a digital marketing agency, and I'm a ten x business coach. So I help businesses grow with their processes and strategies so they can duplicate and scale to seven eight figures. That's amazing. What is one piece of advice you would give somebody? I would tell you that don't be the bottleneck.

00:18:38:08 - 00:18:58:04 Unknown Because so many times we start as an entrepreneur and we have everything in our head that we can't duplicate and go to the next level if we don't have systems and processes. And that's the key to go to the next level. That's amazing. And what brings you here tonight? Tonight? Honestly, just being around other entrepreneurs and always there's always room to grow and expand ourselves.

00:18:58:04 - 00:19:18:17 Unknown So I really love Emily for the ending was incredible. That's amazing. Thank you for being here and having this interview with us. That is amazing. Thank you so much. Thanks for your time. Who am I here with? Melissa and what are you known for? The founder of Epic Talks, the number one entrepreneurship event in Miami. That's amazing. What?

00:19:18:19 - 00:19:41:00 Unknown But you help people become. What is it exactly that that you do? So I bring people together and I help people with their marketing, their branding, with AI, with visibility, with teaching them how to get on stages and get paid for their expertise. And we have our monthly events where we have different topics AI, marketing, taxes, branding, real estate, etc. that's amazing.

00:19:41:00 - 00:19:59:04 Unknown And what would be one piece of advice that you would give somebody who's starting a business right now? Surround yourself in rooms like this, in rooms like epic talks. Find yourself a mentor. You have to. You don't have to. You get to invest in yourself in order to get to the next level of your life. Just like Michael Jordan, right?

00:19:59:05 - 00:20:21:03 Unknown How to coach Kobe Bryant. How to coach. You know, I'm pretty sure Donald Trump has a mentor. You know, find yourself an amazing mentor that's going to help you elevate your life. I totally agree with surround your your surround yourself with people like minded because a lot of times when we hang out with people who don't have the same drive as us or the same vision, they tend to bring us down.

00:20:21:04 - 00:20:42:01 Unknown Absolutely. It's all about your circle. Who are the five people you're surrounding yourself with? You should be the one in that circle and also the one that doesn't know the most. That's. Yeah. You know what I mean. There's always room to learn exactly 100%. And I also invest in myself by placing myself in the right rooms. Like I said, you know, I go to massive events like this.

00:20:42:01 - 00:21:02:15 Unknown I got the opportunity to be one of the speakers here and it's been a blessing. I do have one more message. You're only one connection away from a different life. And that's my message. Amen. Thank you so much. Thank you. Have a good night. Samuel Lighting from Lumut. I'm here with my partner, Matthew Cohen. It's wonderful to be here.

00:21:02:17 - 00:21:28:19 Unknown This great event supporting the mission project and everything they do for the human trafficking and all the charity work that they do to help people. It's important to us as a company. So you guys thought through this event, correct? Yeah, we're one of the sponsors. You know, big shout out to Eric Rock, the Mission Project, what it is to come together and really collaboration and Spirit of Service is a longevity platform based out of San Diego.

00:21:28:19 - 00:21:52:21 Unknown And we united on the front of what it is to be of service to humanity. And that's a big part of what we do. Not only has a clinic forward platform in health and wellness, but how we also run the foundation, and that's where Eric and the mission project came together for the foundation. That's amazing. So you guys are going to be sponsoring a lot more events, I'm assuming, of course.

00:21:52:22 - 00:22:21:13 Unknown Yeah. We have our own foundation called the Foundation that stem from our owners humanitarian mission, from an accident he had when he was young. And so everything we do revolves around service. And at the clinic. It's all about root cause health, root cause, medicine for longevity and wellness, with bringing nature and technology together like hydrogen base frequency, red light therapy, we actually do red light plus and these cellular recharging stations we've built.

00:22:21:13 - 00:22:49:16 Unknown So again, everything we do is to optimize people's health, help people that are searching for answers that are stuck at a dead end, Western medicine and providing them with solutions. Right. What would you say is one trend right now that you really don't support? You know, what I really don't support is the archaic way of just prescribing prescriptions and not giving a solution, just kicking the can down the road.

00:22:49:17 - 00:23:24:18 Unknown Yeah. And again, like I said, we have special technologies that we get down to the root cause. And what we found with people, whether they're optimizing their health or they have cancer or chronic condition, is that people are toxic. So heavy metals, parasites, chemical toxicity, root canals, oral health, I mean everything. And if you clean out the body and you feed it with light and hydrogen and good water and then stem cells, exosomes, all this amazing biohacking technology that people are being exposed to and educated about people, people will recover, people will be optimized.

00:23:24:19 - 00:23:44:23 Unknown Do you think because I believe in all these things, but there are a lot of people who don't, right. How do you have that conversation with them? Because sometimes when I talk to people about, like the type of water that I drink or like, no, I'm not taking that antibiotic, you know what I mean? Like, how do you start that conversation with people who don't really see the vision?

00:23:45:01 - 00:24:14:00 Unknown It's a great question. And accessibility is a huge part of what we do at Lumad from the educational standpoint. But why also we have an incredible team that has created this clinical framework, working with MDS, functional medicine, doctors, RN's, and it's an entire ecosystem to meet somebody where they are and understanding their unique biological blueprint. The future of longevity medicine is personalized.

00:24:14:01 - 00:24:42:08 Unknown This space is noisy. We're encumbered with ads feeding ourselves into these ways of what is the quick fix. But health is a journey, and that's what it stands for in creating an established platform to see you and meet you where you are into then that dynamic roadmap that supports your goals and needs. I love that if there are only one thing that you can recommend for everybody to do, what would it be?

00:24:42:10 - 00:25:02:15 Unknown I'll go with are here. Molecular hydrogen is going to be one of the most powerful things in medicine in the next ten years. It's the smallest molecule in the known universe. It's a selective antioxidant that does it automatically and balances out the homeostasis. The cell, to put it in a basic explanation and whether you're bathing in it. We have hydrogen baths at the clinic.

00:25:02:15 - 00:25:25:20 Unknown We pioneered that in the United States. We drink it. And we also have people inhale hydrogen. And it's just so powerful and we've seen incredible results. We do our own case studies, and I believe that's going to be the next big thing. That's amazing. Do you agree with that or I'm a big fan of molecular hydrogen H2. And also to the basics the fundamental principles of nature.

00:25:25:20 - 00:25:50:05 Unknown Getting outside, finding those bio rhythms, the uniqueness of observing yourself and getting to know your nature, your behaviors, where you came from, your community. The beauty of why we're here, in supporting the mission project and collaborating as an ecosystem, that is the simple things and consistency compounds, and that's what brings you to exponential growth. I love the word extraordinary.

00:25:50:09 - 00:26:16:14 Unknown Yes, living an extraordinary life is simple. Give the word extraordinary space. And it is extraordinary. So it's the simple things that make the change. And that's the beauty of life I love that. Where can we follow you guys? Lou. Marty. Life at Marty. Life on Instagram. Com for our foundation, come to Encinitas, California to visit our flagship HQ clinic and reach out if you have any questions and how we can support.

00:26:16:14 - 00:26:40:18 Unknown Amazing. Thank you. Amen, guys. Thank you so much for your time. Have a good night. Thanks everyone. I'm here with Eric Rock, the founder of the Mission Project. What inspired you, Eric, to start this? This has been a mission about purpose since I've been 35. I'm 42 now, so we are on our 77th event. And the whole thing is about getting mission driven leaders to step in the light and really tell their story.

00:26:40:20 - 00:27:01:09 Unknown Amazing. And what is something that you can tell us to help protect our children from human trafficking? It's a really big topic. At the end of the day, and especially in modern society, human trafficking is not just the shipping containers. Like so many of us think. I had a mother tell me the story on my podcast a couple of years ago that always stuck with me.

00:27:01:10 - 00:27:20:04 Unknown It was her 16 year old daughter, whose boyfriend was the high school quarterback, and him and his brother had convinced her to do an only fans. Next thing you know, this 16 year old daughter is basically being trapped around by her boyfriend and her and her boyfriend's brother. She hid her from her mother, and and and that is exactly how it starts.

00:27:20:04 - 00:27:37:05 Unknown And then the compromise of that young girl's poor soul being talked into something or or a young girl that thinks she's dating someone online, and it turns out to be a 79 year old man. I mean, you just don't know how bad it is in the marketplace. It's honestly so scary. I have two young girls and I just kind of like.

00:27:37:06 - 00:27:54:09 Unknown Times are so different than when the. What they used to be like. And now kids have bombs and it's just so freaking dangerous. Like it's frightening. This is something to be aware of. And it just it's not like you think it is. It happens in so many different ways, so it's good to be aware. It's definitely good to talk to your kids about it.

00:27:54:09 - 00:28:14:10 Unknown And and it's good to really explain like how it actually happens because it stops. It starts with love bombing. It starts with people. They try to manipulate and they control. And I've heard it over and over and over again. And then of course, there's a more traditional ways of trafficking. But if you go into any city, America, and you just type in Asian massage parlor, most of those girls are trafficked.

00:28:14:11 - 00:28:31:14 Unknown That's wild. So if you can give us one piece of advice to everybody who's watching, what would you say to help prevent something like that? Awareness. This is why we do these events. We try to bring great people in and we try to get people to talk about it. I love bringing in people that have resources. They have leverage, they have community, they have followers.

00:28:31:14 - 00:28:47:09 Unknown And I try to see if we can get them to talk about things that actually matter, like this subject matter. Well, you're welcome to come on my podcast any single time you want. Thank you so much. I have I have one last question that I'm asking everybody, and I forgot it because I'm a little nervous. Well, this first necklace I got you, I got you.

00:28:47:11 - 00:29:05:21 Unknown Maybe I should interview you. I just, you know, I'm a podcaster. I'm not, like, the live event type. You're doing amazing. Do you think? Oh, my God, are you kidding me? My God. See, now I gotta find she's a star. Okay, well, that's why my name is Lexus Art. Thank you so much for your time. Thank you so much.

00:29:05:23 - 00:29:30:09 Unknown Who am I here with? Anya. And what are you known for? Oh my gosh. I work with helping captives. I'm the associate director at helping Captives. And I'm also a survivor of sex trafficking. Oh my goodness. Okay, so this event must mean something to you. It definitely means something to me. I love how we are able to spread awareness and really begin to talk to people about the hard things and get their support in helping survivors.

00:29:30:10 - 00:29:50:21 Unknown Wow. That's that's that's crazy to have gone through that. What is a piece of advice that you can give families to help prevent, you know, their child or anybody get traffic. Have the hard conversations. Talk about the things that you don't want to talk about as a parent and are uncomfortable, that you think they're too young for that.

00:29:50:22 - 00:30:12:20 Unknown Obviously age appropriate, but I'm also a licensed mental health counselor, and those conversations just aren't had enough. And so kids are falling prey to people that are grooming them online. And so those conversations really need to be had at a young age. I have two young, young daughters, and now with social media and just access to internet and everything.

00:30:12:21 - 00:30:30:22 Unknown Like sometimes, like I'm not going to talk to my kid about that just yet, but then they're at school and people are saying things and I'm just like, we got to be so prepared. It's crazy. Yeah, because if you don't talk to your kids, someone's going to. And the likelihood is that it's a friend from school and then what are they going to do when they don't understand what certain things are?

00:30:30:23 - 00:30:45:20 Unknown They're going to go to Google. And when they go to Google, to Google something, then where is that going to take them? And that's how they get addictions. That's how they get sidetracked. That's how they get pulled into things that you don't want them and being a part of. So it's so important and vital for you to have those conversations.

00:30:45:20 - 00:31:09:17 Unknown It feels so uncomfortable. And for us it feels like, oh, they're so young. And it's like, no, it can have age appropriate conversations, but you can still make sure that someone else's having those same conversations with them. I definitely agree with that. What would you say? At what age would be appropriate? You would think? I think there is not too early of an age to start teaching a child that they are the ones that have the right to their bodies.

00:31:09:19 - 00:31:29:11 Unknown Yeah, nobody else does. It's crazy that we live in a world where this has to be a conversation, and I just feel like it's happening more and more, and it's not like I spoke to Eric. It's not what it used to be like shipping containers or stuff like that. It could be online, it could be a boyfriend. It could be.

00:31:29:11 - 00:31:51:09 Unknown And that is just so like, damn, what kind of world do we live in? Well, my trafficking took place in the 90s, 1993, and mine was my boyfriend. That's how I was traded to somebody. That is my. So I'm sorry you had to go through that. You know what? The Lord has a way of turning all things for good and using our pain and turning it into purpose.

00:31:51:11 - 00:32:06:12 Unknown He never wants that to happen to us, but when it does, he has a way of making sure if we lean into him, that it's going to turn into something beautiful. I love that. I love how everybody here is so religious and, you know, talks about God and faith and that kind of stuff. So I love that. Thank you so much.

00:32:06:17 - 00:32:15:20 Unknown Thank you. Good night.

00:32:15:22 - 00:32:37:05 Unknown And I want to ask you one last question that I'm asking everyone I'm interviewing tonight. Finish the sentence. Your life changes when you stop worrying about what anybody thinks about you. Amen I love it. I finish the sentence for us. Life gets better when you stop. Stop worrying. Stop worrying. Worry is like the worst. Fuck. Sorry. It's the worst thing.

00:32:37:10 - 00:32:55:21 Unknown Because I was just thinking, thinking, thinking all the time. And that just doesn't do anything for us. You know, we worry about things that we can't control, but we don't realize we don't control anything. In the beginning, God was everything. That's how it works. Amen. One last question. Finish the sentence. Your life changes when you stop procrastinating. Love it.

00:32:56:01 - 00:33:18:01 Unknown Yeah, a lot of people do that. Yes, absolutely. I'm not gonna lie on one of them. Sometimes. Sometimes? Oh, sometimes. I want to ask you one last question. Finish the sentence. Your life changes when you stop being a victim of what happened to you. And take control of what's happening now. I've finished the sentence. Please. Your life starts to change when you stop.

00:33:18:02 - 00:33:47:18 Unknown It never stops. Like your life should never change because of a person. Honestly. And so it never stopped. Your life starts to change when you stop not being your true authentic self. Worrying about what other people think. Finish the sentence. Your life changes when you finally stop.

00:33:47:20 - 00:34:19:14 Unknown Living with insecurity. I love it. If a finish the sentence please. Your life starts to change when you stop trying to control everything. I like that one. We're getting really good answers today. Honestly, I thought we were going to say when we stop, you know, people think about us, but we're getting really good answers.

00:34:19:16 - 00:34:42:17 Unknown Guys, that is it for the Mission Project event. I am Lexa Star and I hope you enjoyed this video.

00:34:42:19 - 00:34:46:14 Unknown Along the way I.
